Seat trims [of the era] seems to be much more focused on interior values than exterior. The trims look the same from the outside, with the differences being for instance that the higher trim (Comfort) has power windows as opposed to manual ones. Seat was VW's low-end cheap and cheerful-brand at the time; it became different when Bernd Pischetsrieder took over as CEO and introduced models such as the Toledo II and Ibiza III, which turned Seat into a brand of racy Spanish emotion. -- Last edit: 2021-02-08 13:12:32 |
