The Galaxie is the one on the right and has its own page. /vehicle_245170-Ford-Galaxie-54B-1963.html I'm convinced the one on the left is a '64 Plymouth, perhaps a Savoy. |

Definitely not a '64 Savoy, or a '64 Fury, with that trim on the door. There's no mirror on the door so it's probably not a '64 Belvedere, either. '63 Galaxies had such trim and some had the mirror mounted at the top of the cigarette window. www.allamericanclassics.com/pics/P05211-63galaxie.jpg By the way, vehicle 245170 is not in this picture. That one has two lights and a siren. -- Last edit: 2009-08-28 16:29:20 |

Take a close look at the rear of the car on the left. Can you see how the rear fenders terminate in rounded forms. To me this suggests round tail lights like those on a 1963 Ford rather thany anything MOPAR of that generation. In addition, the greenhouse area more closely resembles a Ford product than it does a MOPAR. ![]() |

I wrote that based on the board policy that one- and two-star cars of identical years, makes and models can be combined. The car on the right is definitely a '63 Galaxie and so is the one in the other episode. -- Last edit: 2009-08-28 19:43:02 |

You're right about the trunk/rear deck shape. The grille just looked like a Plymouth to me from that angle, but I'll admit it's not the best photo in the world, rather dark and from an unusual angle. |

I see it as a 1963 Ford, possibly a Custom, but NOT a Mopar! |
