With the divided grille, I am thinking 1948 Studebaker Commander. |

BTW, those fender top ornaments are of the correct Commander style but were optional, not standard, in 1947. Champions had no fender top ornaments, but had optional, short fender side chrome ornaments. In 1949 and 1950, fender top ornaments were standard on Commanders. They were optional on '47 and '48 Commanders. In 1951, they were standard on State Commanders and Land Cruisers but optional on Regal Commanders. Fender top ornaments were optional on '50 to '51 Champions but were not available at all on '47 to '49 Champions. (Have yet to do a detailed review of 1952 models) -- Last edit: 2010-02-19 19:43:39 |
