Ward la france 1000, series 1-4 6x6 heavy wrecker,M1, series 1 introduced in 1941/42...series 2 introduced 1942..series 3 introduced 1942/43..series 4 introduced 1943. All series are identical vehicles, only difference is that from series 2 the vehicle had an extra winch at rear. In all cases the vehicle is fitted with Gar Wood 5 ton swinging boom crane with manual boom control, total built 1,554. built by Kenworth and Ward La France..the majority were by Ward La France. |
