possible, I was hesitating. But with a grill painted in black then, since it should be the same color than the car...

...actually the first 309 had black grill whatever the colour of the car, the second edition of the 309 had a different "grill" with larger stripes with same colour than the rest of the body.

It's simple :

If you command a part (like grill, fenber, door) by Peugeot dealer, body parts is not paint, and black ;) It's just an protective paint or "pré-paint" (I dont found word to design "appret" :lol: )

It's a Peugeot 309 on left, sure :)

R18 also visible in back. Renault 9 on right. Nice stadardisation of police cars, isn't it ?

Bon. On va essayer de mettre tout le monde d'accord. 309 série 2 ( après restyling ). Calandre noire, parce que livrée hors peinture en après-vente, à repeindre à la couleur qu'on veut, gag assez typique des voitures, je crois, algériennes, si je reconnais les plaques d'immat'. Ou alors, c'est une version basique spécifique à l'export pour les pays du Maghreb, ce qui ne serait pas étonnant de la part de Peugeot...

Je précise: comme dit Arnaultl, la calandre livrée en apprêt noir, c'est valable partout. Mais la version calandre noire, peut-être que c'est une version spécifique administration ou police...
