This is one of the famous "Mobile Lounges" of Dulles International Airport outside Washington, DC. It's actually a Chrysler: /vehicle_20149-Chrysler-Budd-Mobile-Lounge.html |

They still use the mobile lounges in Dulles Airport. I transfered through the airport last August. I heard that they are going to stop using them when they finish constructing the underground subway in the airport. |

That's the plan. For me, riding the mobile lounges is one of the best parts of flying out of Dulles. I'm going to miss them when they're gone. |

I know, such a pity! The mobile lounges made Dulles Airport very unique and once they get rid of them, Dulles Airport will just be like any other international airport. Tsk tsk ![]() |

I rode in one of those things the one time I flew out of Dulles, back in 1994. One of my friends said they reminded him of sections of the Mammoth Car from "Speed Racer". |
