This will be a 'Controversial' Entry..should in be here..or Not.? ...it's not the same as a ski-mobile ... this is a full size van/car (with doors etc..) with half-track rear ...but two ski's on the front ....it has a car/van engine ..and drives with a steering wheel.! ..Whatever it is ...Betty Grable is pleased this time.!! -- Last edit: 2012-03-02 11:23:53 (vilero) |

If it is based on a vehicle that had wheels and that was modified, we could list it. In the other hand, I do not know... -- Last edit: 2006-03-11 11:35:57 |

It should be! A 1940s Bombardier. Highly collectible. |

I agree! Very interesting vehicle! However I would say it is a Tucker Sno-Cat Model 443. They came with two tracks and skis or with four tracks. Thanks for the pictures, Steve! |

It sure is a Tucker Sno-Cat, but is this really a model 443? As far as I know, in Sno-Cat model numbering logic, 443 should mean "series 400, 4 tracks, 3 doors". Internet search seems to confirm that the 443 is a 4-track model. -- Last edit: 2020-03-20 18:26:24 |
