Hino Renault (1960-) Bumper stay was shortend from 1960, so it's 1960 or 61 model. Speed limit of small car (length under 3800mm) was restricted, so Hino Renault was stretched the bumper stay till 1959. This grille is Japanese version from 1957. picture of grille http://www.pingu.mu/nagoha_toyota/kuromi/9s.jpg |

In early '50's, when the Citroën 2CV was introduced to Japan, some people misunderstood that 'CV' is real 'HP'. Also the newspaper advertisement said "2 Horse Power car is coming!! " Hino might have consciously removed '4CV', not to invite misunderstanding. |

So do we have to rename the other Hino 4CV or not? |

Yes, please rename. From now I'll check them and fill the year. And please change this to 'Hino Renault Standard' |
