Brazilian Chevrolet. Perhaps could this be Veraneio or something else? |

Chevrolet C-10. |

According to Wikipedia: |

This is Brazilian made, not an USA origin... |
◊ 2009-10-29 20:07 |
Brazilian made yes but as it is based on the US version with unique sheetmetal origin would still be US |

1980+ grille. But this pickup has then several possible names (pt): it could be a C-10 (gasoline propelled), a D-10 ('78+ Diesel engine) or a A-10 ('79+ alcohol powered). Shouldn't we better use a Série 10 category name, the same way it was done (or should have been done for the D-20 pickups ![]() One thing is sure, it is a Cabine Dupla "picape". ⇒ 1980 Chevrolet Série 10 Cabine Dupla? ⇒ 1980 Chevrolet A/C/D-10 Cabine Dupla? -- Last edit: 2015-01-20 03:59:58 |

Do I also change all the Chevrolet D-20 to Série 20 then? And all D-10 to Série 10? If none is identifiable certainly as D- version What about D-40/60 ? -- Last edit: 2015-01-20 17:18:20 |

See my response in the forum. In a nutshell: I think that would be the right thing to do. Some have indeed 1964-70 (not sure of the second MY) grille, making them C-10 only models: A-10 and D-10 were unveiled only in late 70s. With the generic Série 10 name, all would be in the same category and wouldn't be confused with the North American C-10. Or C-10 with Série 10 as chassis code for the early models? Ongoing research... -- Last edit: 2015-01-20 21:34:55 |

That would be easier, if they are not related to the US C-10. |

Can we do the same thing with US Class C motorhomes? ![]() |
◊ 2015-01-21 17:32 |
List them as "Série C motorhome" ? ![]() I do not see what you mean by "do the same thing" |
◊ 2015-01-21 17:44 |
List Class C motorhomes by their coachbuilders, so they wouldn't be in the same category as the regular Econolines and Chevy Vans. I've said this many times, but each time my cries fell on deaf ears... |

And as said previously several times, we list under their own make the vehicles which were advertised/sold and registered as such; for motorhomes the first part is likely right, but I do not know if in term of registration these motorhomes always fall in that case. You can make a thread on the forum for the discussion about that if you wish... -- Last edit: 2015-01-21 17:49:15 |

And so there are the conclusions too: they are registered as their original make. And in the next version of the site that will be better handled.![]() |

They are... and not ("réponse de Normand", to pay tribute to my origins ![]() ![]() So it's maybe better to write a post in the Naming conventions part of the forum... |

1979+ grille, in fact. Strange MY, as the grille change took place in late (calendar year) 1979. But the brochures say '79 (see the forum post mentioned above)... |
