I forgot that they put 4 portholes in the 1955 century, the 1954 only had 3. Just for my information, how do you distinguish it from the roadmaster? |

In 1955 all Buicks except the Specials had four portholes. So a car with four portholes may be a Century , a Super or a Roadmaster. For a convertible, distinction is difficult without fine deatils as markings and finition .Supers and Roadmasters used a 127 inches wheelbase ,Centurys were somewhat shorter with a 122 inches wheelbase.Distinction between a closed model Roadmaster or Super 4 door or coupe and a Century 4 door or coupe is easier , since the Century line (and also the Specials) had a different rear window style that was somewhat more angular.Unfortunately Marilyn hides the rear part of the car However ,the example here seems to have a relatively long wheelbase and I would rather think it is a Super or a Roadmaster. |

It's a 1955 Century 2 dr. Riviera. The Roadmaster and Super have longer front fenders (where the wheelbase difference is) Also, the windshield posts are more upright on the bigger models. |

Great shot of Marilyn and Kevin McCarthy. This is a great car movie too. |
