I think it's an earlier one, pre-Corniche: "Silver Shadow MPW 2-Door Convertible". The conditon is too bad for a 1971 car (when the Corniche name was introduced) and I don't believe that the film makers would really have damaged a near brand new car less then a year old, which counted to the most expensive ones during this time. I believe it's a 1967 to max. 1970 car. But not a 1971 Corniche....Especially as there were very long waiting lists for getting a new car... No, I am sure, it can't be a "Corniche", it's a "Silver Shadow MPW 2-Door Convertible" (1967 - 1970) -- Last edit: 2006-03-15 19:29:23 |

It's a US specification car. It has no side marker lights, which were introduced in 1968, and as the Silver Shadow convertible was introduced in 1967, it could only be a 1967 car. It is finished in Sand with Beige hide. |

I agree, it is Silver Shadow (NO head rests, round reversing lights, single exhaust tail pipe and in one picture you can see it has a thin grille (Corniche was thicker from the front edge to the back edge measured across the panel the Spirit of Ecstacy is mounted). It seems to be in a typical early colour as well. |
