Looks a lot like a Ford Escort. Hey, there's an International Harvester Loadstar in this shot too. |

that burned car is a early 80s Ford Escort wagon |

Anywhere between 1918-89. Better to leave the year out becuase that is too big of a range. |

I'd say that 1918-1989 was too big of a range also ![]() |

You know what I meant ![]() |

I disagree with 81-89 being to big of a range to list any year ![]() |
◊ 2009-11-03 06:06 |
Of course ![]() |

okay I guess we'll have to agree to disagree ![]() there are a lot others on the site with larger year ranges (take the Sidekick for instance most of them could be anywhere from 89-98) |

Does the rear come more into view as the truck shoves it out of the way? It might be possible to see if there's a 3rd brake light or not. |

It certainly is a case-by-case type of thing. I hope that someday the year classification system we have will get revamped a bit. |

anyway with that rear bumper extension this can be no older than an 1988 and no newer than 1990 81-84 /vehicle_237057-Ford-Escort-Wagon-1981.html 85-87 Link to "upload.wikimedia.org" 88-90 Link to "upload.wikimedia.org" |

Yes, that's not so big. When you have something like 1961-1989 (like for some trucks/busses), indeed it is too large. Or when the range cover various different generations of the cars sharing the same name, and you can't identify which one it is. -- Last edit: 2009-11-03 11:33:13 |
