Late-1970's Continental Town car, and it's a Limousine |

Appears to be a 1977, per grille and skirted rear wheel openings. |

No badge; not a Town Car -- Last edit: 2011-10-11 21:50:06 |

Commander, take a closer look. The hubcaps and "Continental" script on the rear fender indicate this is a '75/76 that's been rebodied with a '77 front end. -Kurt |

It does indeed have a modified look. |

Is it stretched at the C-pillar, just beyond the rear doors? It looks like it could be an Andy Hotton car |

Yes it IS one of Mr. Hottens. They were part of the NYC FoMoCo Public Relations fleet. (hence the flag stands on the fenders). When not in movies, they were used fro everything from Astronauts to Presidents, Princes to Popes. I know the car , I washed it many times. It had stretch of the wheelbase and the rear doors, which made them very superior to every other Limo.... |
