1938 Chevrolet, I think a Master (not Master Deluxe) four-door sedan as no chrome is visible around the windshield frame. |

I guess it should has two spare wheels - one on every side of the hood? In later scene it was visible with both: Or was it replaced by a different model? -- Last edit: 2009-11-10 19:15:29 |

Probably the second card is a different one. Side-mounted spare tires were a high-end accessory in those days and not likely to be on a low-spec model like a Chevrolet Master. This car shows the standard rear-mounted spare in one of the pictures above which was the usual equipment for the sedan models that did not have the expanded trunk (those were called "Town" sedans with two doors, and "Sport" sedans with four doors). If it had the side-mounts, the rear one would not be installed. |

Thanks for this explanation. They could use one of these already listed. -- Last edit: 2009-11-11 16:16:48 |
