Nash Rambler with a 1953+ grille. But since it seems to be a non-softtop 2-door sedan it must be 1954+. |

The Nash Rambler grille and bumper were identical in 1953 and 1954 . Furthermore , Nash introduced the low-priced metal-roof two door pillared sedan minus all Custom trim in 1953 as the model 5316 and not in 1954.For me , it can be either a 1953 Nash Rambler 2-door sedan model 5316 or the equivalent 1954 model 5416. |

Fine with me. It's just that according to my info the sedan didn't appear before 1954. Also http://www.cadvision.com/blanchas/ID-Cars/NashRamblerModels.html doesn't list the sedan... |

'53 and '54 Ramblers were near identical. As I recall, the only exterior difference was the addition of chrome spacers in the cowl intake slot for '54. The photo is too blurry to tell. 1954 Rambler: http://static.howstuffworks.com/gif/1953-1955-nash-hudson-rambler-5.jpg 1953 Rambler: http://dummidumbwit.files.wordpress.com/2009/08/1953-1955-nash-hudson-rambler-2.jpg Note difference in the cowl panel. -- Last edit: 2009-11-13 17:39:45 |

Again: I thought it would be a 1954 because (according to my info) the sedan was only introduced for model year 1954. |

From the shape of the "B" pillar, I think that's a 2-door sedan, which was built in both years. A 4-door was added for 1954, as I recall. |
