Watched this episode yestersday, they resprayed it grey (in a shade used on new Bentleys today) and replaced the grille with a mesh one and the rectangular headlights with quad circular ones. It looked okay at the end (they wanted to make it look more modern) but it isn't very helpful for people like us who use such details to indentify the model and year of a car! -- Last edit: 2009-11-17 01:26:06 |

![]() ![]() ![]() Yes, they repainted it Storm Grey, updated the grille and highlights, because it looked "stuck in the 80s", then sold it to a guy with a gold chain around his neck. A little contradictory. The vehicle details for A783 YGF are: Date of Liability 01 01 2011 Date of First Registration 01 01 1984 Year of Manufacture 1984 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 6750CC Fuel Type Petrol Export Marker Not Applicable Vehicle Status SORN Not Due Vehicle Colour GREY |

Could have passed for a Turbo R if they'd left the grille. -- Last edit: 2012-07-05 14:15:56 |

From episode 10.01 (grey car):![]() ![]() Was listed as a Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit but I think it's actually a Bentley. 1980-88 Bentleys had a rectangular badge in the centre of the boot lid similar to a RR badge (with a little B logo on it) and this has a left side name plaque name plaque which an RR wouldn't have. Probably a Mulsanne, Eight is possible but not a Mulsanne Turbo/Turbo R because it wouldn't have a left side exhaust. -- Last edit: 2015-02-16 20:11:36 |
