Once I said something about the version for Austria: /vehicle_253618-Volkswagen-K70-Typ-48-1971.html - rather meant as a joke, but it was listed indeed. This strange light-combination was the only special "Made for A"-feature. |

Did you mean the headlight pattern design? Not the same headlights that is being used in Germany compare to Austria? ![]() |

Nonono, everything of the headlights is identical. The only "made for Austria"-item was, that the lamp for the back license plate had to flash, when you are using the headlamp-flasher. I have no idea, in what years Austria had this rule, but it's remarked for example in spare-part-catalogues of the early 70ies. Volkswagen had the code "M 30" for this "extra" (probably an added relais, I think). Ah, I see in my K 70-catalogue, that the last day for this "extra" was the 31.12.1971. |
