With its 7 slots in the grille it is a Jiefang CA10 (1956-1980s). http://www.sinodefence.com/army/transport/ca30.asp It is based on the Russian ZiS-150 (1947-57), which itself is based on the International KR-11 (1941-43). |

I don't think this is a 1956 model because this movie is supposed to take place in WWII |

Would not be the first time that there is such mistake in a movie |

Actually there is hardly any film showing armour from that period that is not using post-war equipment. Original military material is usually no longer existent, or not in a usable condition, or too valuable to be used by a film crew. The Shanghai occupation took place in 1937 and I doubt that vehicles from that time survived 50 years of war and communist rule in China. |

As I already used cyrillic today, that's how Jiefang should be written: 解放 Makes sorting the database a bit more challenging! |

Definately not 1956. I am not 100% when the 7 slatted grille was introduced, it was some time in the 1960s. Production has started with the same grille ZiS 150 has |
