 Nope, late 1994 model. The side markers didn't exist on 1988-1994(EU)/(US)1989-May 1994 models.

 Carmaker: No way. Side markers was law in many countrys. Like in Sweden all E34 have side markers from start in 1988, Italy, Denmark, Finland, Norway, UK also have it. In France they were very common and in Germany you could have them as option. This is a M5 1989-1992.
