Not very visible in the picture is the fact that the Bugatti has a second wind shield in front of the dicky seat. If it helps, it was described in the movie as a 'sport phaeton' -- Last edit: 2006-03-24 18:56:44 |

It very much ressembles the Murphy-bodied Bugatti type 38 roadster of 1927 used in early pictures starring Katherine Hepburn ( ao" Christopher Strong" , 1933).In this picture the car seems to have a Rolls-Royce hood mascot , there are pictures with Katherine Hepburn in the similar Bugatti with an Hispano-Suiza hood mascot.So it may be the same car and if so that would now be in Jay Leno's collection.Unfortunately the pictures are again very blurred. |

that is 1928 Bugatti Type 38A Murphy Roadster. and I also think that that hood mascot is not from this vehicle. |
