dsl ◊ 2012-11-22 21:46	If genuine - and it looks realistic as far as I can tell despite UK plate - this is the 1984 (Marlboro) East African Safari works entry #17 Vic Preston Jnr / John Lyall (presumably not the old West Ham United and Ipswich football manager) which finished 6th - see door stickers. Plate presumably chosen to sound like Dusty? Seems to appear at lots of shows and on retro rallies - eg http://www.fotocommunity.de/pc/pc/display/21789891 .
Weasel1984 ◊ 2013-08-09 20:49	However the "year of manufacture" is perhaps correct too. It is the "Evo 2" car, they were homologated on 01.01.1984, so first ones had to be built in 1983. But let's stay with the 1984 season year in this case.
