Sure about a Hillman Minx? For me it's a Fiat 1100, resp. Neckar-Fiat. It's a scene from the Berlin Wall, as here: /vehicle_261692-Ford-Taunus-17M-P2-1957.html and some others. The guard has a GDR-uniform and the other cars have West-Berlin-plates. And not to forget, that Hillman was never officially sold in Germany. As the Wall looks quite provisional on these pics, I would say, these scene are from December 1963. There was the "Passierschein-Abkommen" released. So for the first time since the 13.August 1961 West-Berlin-citizens could travel to East Berlin. |

As Fiat, it would be a 1100 Lusso 1959, but as a german production, it would be either a 1959 NSU-Fiat Neckar or 1961 Neckar 1100, not 1962+ which is copy of the Fiat 1100 Speciale (flat roof shape with wider rear window) |
