Judging by the Birmingham 'O' plate, this one could have beeen supplied by BL, as they had begun to wake up to the possibilities of brand placement by this time, 20 years or so after their Dagenham and Luton based friends. As a rule of thumb, any BL car with an 'O' or 'VP' plate in british tv of the 50's to 80's will be BMC/BL supplied - the 1967 movie 'Robbery' being a great early example of pretty much the whole car and light commercial vehicle range being showcased! |
