Actually, This a a Plymouth Horizon, you can tell by the front grill when he hits the statue in front of the house. Also, it is a 84 to 90 model because those models had that front grill with the Chrysler Pentistar in the middle, where the 81's did not. |

But is it considered as really "used" by a character (well, it is a quite minor character, and quite briefly), or still considered as a "minor action" though that there are two of these... |

This car was origin in France, and its name is Talbot Horizon. Its sucessor was Peugeot 309 |

I thought the car was a Talbot Horizon. My dad used to have one, and like Kenster102.5 have said, it really was the crappiest car ever.. ![]() |

Watched the movie today, this car is a 1990 model, the final year. In 1990, the outside mirrors were square shaped. In previous model years, the outside mirrors were circle shaped. Also, the 1990 model had a driver side airbag, the only Horizon to do so. You can actually see it in it's second scene of the movie as the pizza boy gets out of the car. |

The Golf by Chrysler |
◊ 2011-04-12 19:08 |
It was thought by Chrysler-Simca as a Golf-competitor, when it came on the European market at first, but they failed. Too worse quality and the production-amount was becoming less, too. |

The Golf is actually a Volkswagen |
◊ 2011-04-20 09:57 |
I believe he meant it was Chrysler's competitor to the Golf. Interestingly, the Horizon used Volkswagen engines for some time. -- Last edit: 2011-04-20 09:58:10 |

Why is the model origin France? Plymouth is an American make of car. Not French. Why is the origin France? |
◊ 2013-08-08 20:15 |
It was based on the Talbot Sunbeam, a French car. ![]() -- Last edit: 2013-08-08 20:15:29 |

On Simca/Chrysler Horizon to be exact, which was different than the British Chrysler/Talbot Sunbeam. Anyway the US one had some changes and the whole project perhaps was also, at least partly, sponsored by the US Chrysler... -- Last edit: 2013-08-08 20:22:59 |

I think I see a square mirror, which would make it a brand new '90. First, last and only year for that. |
