It's a puch VS50D with the wrong front fender. The metal insets in the rear wheel arch and the headlight are typical for the VS50 line, the plated handle bars makes it a VS50D. The front fender came from a MS50V MV50 or MS50L. The VS50 had originally a half moon or banana shaped front fender with a polished metal ornament on the front. The front fender must have been replaced at some point on this particular one along with the fueltank, the VS50 had a chrome part on the tank. It must be noted there is a small chance this inconsistency with the puch model line is actually correct, if it happens to be a special version for the mail service. There have been instances of limited production ranges for mail services throughout europe. Nonetheless the base model would still be the VS50D. |
