 Plate returns: 1997. Listed tare mass of 1410kg indicates this is a E230.

Elegance trim due to chrome trim on the body. Base Classic models had no chrome, while Avantgarde models had more stripes on the grille.

Can you possibly see if you can ascertain the VIN? Wanted to pull the build sheet if possible.

 My eyesight must be worse than it was in 2013 because I can't make out the plate. First letter is A, and last 3 digits are 30S or 32S, but I can't read the other 2. If you can figure it out, let me know.

 Pattern recognition, more than eye sight. Analog, by the use of twin optical scanners.

Couldn't find it online, possibly better visible there

Maybe try using a VPN and see if it works. Unfortunately when I first checked this plate in 2013, VINs weren't able to be looked up for NSW plates (thankfully now you can).
