I agree with robi. It is a StuG III (SdKfz 142). It may be an Ausf-A or a very early Ausf-B, due to the front drive sprocket. The Ausf-A has a drive sprocket with 8 round holes in it. Some early Ausf-B have the same drive sprocket. This picture looks (to me) like the vehicle has a front drive sprocket with 8 round holes. So I would say... it is a StuG III. And it is POSSIBLY an Ausf-A or Ausf-B. |
