The Flex Fuel badge would indicate a 2009 model, right? Or was 2008 the first model year for the option on the Suburban? By the way, the plates don't show up on the California Smog Test site page, meaning that it probably has not been tested yet. |

According to Consumer Guide, even the 2007 models can run E85. |

The 2007 through 2009 models have a yellow Flex Fuel badge on the lower right corner of the rear hatch, 2010-2012 models have a green Flex Fuel badge on the lower right of the hatch. 2013-2014 models don't have one, but can still run E85, GM just got rid of the badge to save a few bucks. |
