Those aren't wheel covers...they are Aluminum alloy Wheels, and they are similar to the Impala SS ones (the SS ones ore wider and "dished" in though) |

Those are LS/LS Sport wheels. Although it's rare, police departments sometimes use regular cars and not police-package cars. However, I think that this might actually be a 9C1 with replacement wheels (officers sometimes make modifications if they have take home cars, usually done with smaller departments). The main reason is because I don't see an "LS" badge next to "Impala" in the trunk. Comments? -- Last edit: 2010-01-11 19:25:31 |

I'm sorry, that was just bad wording on my part. They're definitely alloy wheels as you said. -- Last edit: 2010-01-11 19:25:11 |

I was going to say the exact same thing but you beat me to it. They're definitely government plates. I've seen those markings before but I can't recall what agency it is ![]() -- Last edit: 2010-01-11 19:31:59 |

Another pic(doesn't show much though): ![]() I believe it was all shot in California, if that helps. |

It certainly doesn't have the LS headrests with the hole. I'm almost sure this is a 9C1 with replacement wheels, but I can't say I'm 100% sure. |

On t.v. shows/movies FBI vehicles have these govt plates. I don't think they are exclusive to the FBI on t.v shows/movies or in real life,. |

Who said they were in the first place? Or what are you trying to say? |

I am really interested in figuring out which agency this car is from. I downloaded this movie and watched the scene with the police car a few times. Unfortunately, none of the vehicle action was filmed "at speed," instead the video is sped up to make the cars look like they're going fast. That makes the video blurry when paused. In addition, it looks like there is an agency name on the doors below the black trim piece which is blurred out/covered up. Based on what I read in the credits, this film was shot in Watsonville and surrounding Santa Cruz County, California. The police car isn't the usual "black-and-white" style that is common in California. In addition, it has the GSA US Government license plates. Since all the other cars in this movie appear to have their actual California license plates, the GSA plates are probably the car's actual plates. It doesn't appear to be from a big well known federal law enforcement agency. My guess, and it's just a guess, is that it's from the Department of Veterans Affairs Police somewhere in California. |
