I knew I recognized the logo from somewhere. Which ones had GM vs. GMC logos? |

The early model new looks from 1959-1966 had GM, whilst later models from 1967-1986 had GMC |

But this is a '72-76, and it has the GM logo. For some reason, I used to think the width of the bus had something to do with it. |

No, not exactly. In this case, the logo may be a replacement for its original logo which may have been damaged or fallen off. |
