This is an 05 model Eagle, imported from Belgium by "Continental" Trailways Buslines. Prolly a late '70's model. They had GM Detroit Diesel 8V71's, most with 4spd stick. They had torsion bar suspension and were great rides. They had nothing to do with International Harvestor/International Trucks. The confusion likely comes from their moniker originally being 'continental' Trailways which got streamlined into TRAILWAYS later in the '80's. Trailways eventually built their own coaches in Brownsville Texas at the Eagle factory instead of importing them from Belgium. dr.g. |

So I guess that it should be listed as "Bus & Car" like those? /vehicles_make-Bus+%2526+Car_model-New+Silver+Eagle.html |

Those of us who own Eagles consider them all to be Eagles regardless of where they were built. Eagles were built in four countries on two continents. Silver Eagle Bus is now moving their production facility from Brownsville, TX to middle Tennessee. |
