cl82 ◊ 2010-02-12 17:27	Actually I liked it at first. When it debuted in 2003, I test-drove one equipped with the FSI-engine and a six-speed manual which really drove nicely. However, a couple of years later I read several articles in various car-magazines which drove Tourans for long-time tests( usually 100,000 km or 1 1/2 years. In one particular case, the car had to be repaired 18(!) times within that 18 months. I also knew a couple of people who had one, but in most cases not for a very long time due to countless issues. I also didn't like that the Volkswagen Group created the "Auto 5000" company which builds the Touran( and the Tiguan since 2007), allegedly in order to save jobs in Germany. Still, the main aim behind this aim was to cut costs to the debit of the workers.
