The grille makes me think AM General FJ-8, but the placement of the turn signals seems off. |

Its a Boyertown Postal van http://images.craigslist.org/5O05Q55T23nd3k63m2bav931e428e10ce1b88.jpg |

Shape is similar, but how do you know, that's Boyertown? |

Well just look at the grill and the shape they match one seen on this link Link to "www.scrantonfire.com" which is referred to as a 1973 Boyertown. |

Yes, but van from your previous link - it's without description, but indeed it's similar to this above. |

The turn signal position, the grill, and the shape, all match a Boyertown, and I don't know what else it could be. |

It's for sure Boyertown, probably from the end of '70. The same body - but with divided windshield - was used to build 1978 Battronic Minivan Electric (name acc to the official tests): Link to "www.bonhams.com" http://www.flickr.com/photos/drtchild/4923524364/ Link to "picasaweb.google.com" Link to "picasaweb.google.com" Link to "blog.modernmechanix.com" About: Battronic - http://www.econogics.com/ev/evhistb.htm#Battronic , http://www.electricvehiclesnews.com/History/historyV.htm results of the van tests (in PDF) - Link to "www.google.pl" |

Considering it is too small to be a Boyertown Merchandiser, and is unlikely to be a Boyertown Battronic Minivan because it has a grill, I think we should list it as Boyertown Postal Van. -- Last edit: 2011-11-30 22:07:42 |

And: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f27/jeep-1049884/ Seems, that these vans has chassis from AM General, and for sure were built around 1972... |
