Ford Prefect [E93A], yes; but this looks to me like a 2-door, which was only produced pre-WW2, so 1938+. |

Only 10,163 2-door Prefects (E93A) made in UK Oct 38 to Feb 42 - all other Prefects were halted in July 40, but Briggs continued to make 2-doors under special commission to government departments. Many 2-doors were exported - both fully built and CKD. Aus also made their own briefly in the E93A era which had solid roofs - also rare because it was replaced after a year by their E03A phase which I don't think had 2-door saloons (but unconfirmed). When UK Prefects restarted in July 45, the 2-door had disappeared. |
