Could be, although it looks like it's got the flat windshield, making it either a '71 or '72 (if it's a Super Beetle).

It's not a Superbeetle. It's a regular Mexico built 1300.

I don't think Mexican Beetles were sold (at VW dealers) in the States.

C'est un Typ1 de l'aout 1967 au jouillet 1970 (Feux arrière 'catedrale' pas de sortie de l'air sùr le montant arrière) ; 1300cc ou 1500cc avec clignotants avant grands model USA et sur les laterales des feux arriere les refletteurs tipiques pour le marchè USA.

Side marker at the taillight assembly barely visible at the main picture is 1971/72 model year for US market...

Besides there is turn signal/parking/side marker assembly on top of the front fender also indicates US version...

it is 1970 model sincei it has larger flasher and there is no vent next to the quarter window.
