Possibly a 55-57 Chevy LCF heavy duty truck. It looks similar to the trucks here.... http://www.classiccoe.com/oldcoetrucks/5459.htm |

56Chevy is right, but beyond that, this one has a medium-length wheelbase, so this LCF is also a 5400. -- Last edit: 2010-04-08 16:19:21 |

5400 - 2-ton model - 136-inch wheelbase 7200 - 2.5-ton model - 124-inch wheelbase 9200 - 2.5-ton model - 124-inch wheelbase "medium-length wheelbase" was not just for 5400 models... |

It couldbe a 7100 to 9700 heavy-duty truck indeed, but it seems more likely to have the "single hole" grille of a 5100 / 5400 / 5700 medium-duty one. So the "Heavy Duty Truck" complement is: - not sure, - wrong if "just" a 5XXX medium-duty truck... ⇒ 1955 Chevrolet LCF-Series? |
