Maybe a small Daimler or a Lanchester - I can't see whether the grille is frilly. |

I'm now certain that this is a Daimler 15, 1932+. http://www.coppergateluxurycars.co.uk/#/daimler151932/4517094034 |

An early Daimler 15 of 1933-4. Note the 'angled' supports for the headlights between wing and radiator, and the black painted bumber bar. It had a 9ft 1.5in wheelbase, 4ft 3.5in track, and a 1805cc six cylinder engine (63.5 x 95mm). Weighing a modest 22- 23 hundredweight it could reach 64.5mph and get to 50 in about 23 seconds- quite good figures for the time. £450 made it quite expensive- but all Daimlers then had the easy to use fluid flywheel transmission which was highly valued in the 1930's. |
