Pontiac Sunbird or something from this range. |

My initial guess was 1986 Buick Skyhawk. The mid-80s GM j-bodies have similar roof lines so theres not much to work with here, but I'm ruling out Cavalier and Cimmarron. In many cases, the doorhandles were painted to match the car, as opposed to the all-black handles seen here. They mostly were found on sportier editions, like the Sunbird GT or Skyhawk T-type. It looks more like a Buick blue to me, but Sunbird or Firenza are possibilities too. I don't recall Cavaliers having such a pronounced chrome trim strip near the top of the body. |

Buick wouldn't have black door handles and window surrounds unless it was a sporty T-Type or whatever nonsense trims they were using around that time, which is very unlikely since they sold about ten of those. Sunbird or Firenza, most likely the former. -- Last edit: 2010-03-07 22:02:45 |

Jale's thumbnail shows Cavalier taillamps. Door name plate looks long enough to say Cavalier, with a two-letter trim designation. RS? |

Absolutely, would be an 1986-87 model for Cavalier RS. |
