1967 and 1968 Cadillacs have the same basic body shell. From this angle, it's impossible to tell which year.
This has to read "1967-68 Cadillac De Ville convertible".

According to the windows this isn't a convertible, but a coupe.

"Coupe de Ville" then?

I would normally call it like this, but we have millions of SdV and CdV just listed as "DeVille" in each category...

For this generation it would have been Coupe Deville

First of all, "Deville" could probably be Lucifer's spouse, but not a car. This seems to be the Cadillac mistyping favourite No. 1 (followed by "El Dorado", which was never used by Cadillac either). So we have in stock: De Ville, de Ville, DeVille - depending on the model year, sometimes with sedan or coupe prefix, sometimes with sedan or coupe suffix, sometimes without any of them.

Cadillac nomenclature was never meant to be comprehensible for you or me or any other visitor of this site. ;) Through the decades, Cadillac did the same with it's names what my goddaughter does with her toys - messing them up as can be. No wonder some people get the impression that the model names for each year were drawn by lot. :D I saw and "lived" Cadillac every day for several years, but I still have to consult official literature in many cases, because the names changed so often. For example in 1959 it would have been a Coupe de Ville, I think in 1967 it was a De Ville coupe. There are further obstacles (Eldorado vs. Fleetwood Eldorado, Seville vs. Eldorado Seville, Brougham vs. Eldorado Brougham vs. Fleetwood Brougham, de Ville vs. Series 62 de Ville Sub-series etc.)

It is pretty much a can of worms with these models having listed them correctly. So if we want to be exact, this will be a major act. That rhymes.

Shouldn't we then have a repass on them all and add them the same way, other way the ones listed as Coupé DeVille won't appear with the one listed as just DeVille, even if they are form the same generation, so i think we should put them all correctly, no?

We should establish some "rules" for Cadillac naming on the site, closest possible to the actual names, but by keeping it easy for us too (e.g. not having both Coupe de Ville and De Ville Coupe if that changed from one year to another)
Maybe "we" (i.e. Animatronixx :D) should do a list on the forum, ask for some other Cadillac-specialist like MrCadillac, Benzilla and Drujon to approve or comment, and then apply these changes to the vehicles of the site.

Completely agreed.
