hood ornament indicates Mercedes Benz body lines don't resemble any known model |

Referred to as a Duesenberg, but totally wrong for the WWI movie-within-the-movie. Probably built out of bits of other cars. When it hits the water you can briefly see a modern rear axle. |

Looks a bit like a Voisin of some sort in terms of general shape and proportions?? |

It probably started life as some kind of neoclassic Bugatti Royale replica like a panther Deville or a Beauford then they Just gave it a Mercedes benz SSK front and a Rolls royce style trunk. -- Last edit: 2011-09-21 21:50:44 |

I am surprised that 62imperial said ''body lines don't resemble any known model'' because it looks nearly identical to a 1932 Mercedes Benz 770, the doors, fenders, bar in between the headlights, overall body, in fact I actually think it would be better off listed as Mercedes Benz 770 Replica. |

The meaning of "nearly identical" has changed in the night and nobody told me? |

No the meaning of nearly identical has not ''changed in the night''. |

OK, so you use it wrongly -- Last edit: 2011-12-14 14:07:56 |

No I just saw some heavy resemblance to the Mercedes Benz 770 in this car, I pointed out lots of details that look about right, it has the Mercedes Benz hood ornament, it resembles a 770 more than any other model. could we at least list it as ''Made for movie Mercedes Benz 770''? |
