These badges came for model year 1983, and the black plastic support of the taillight (instead of light grey) indicates a 1986+ version. Lack of side trim and a black roof makes it a Spécial, and the thicker rear bumper that usually indicates a Club version was used on the Spécial since September 1987. So this is a 1988+ 2CV 6 [i]Spécial and probably one of the very last French built 2CV's (they stopped production in February 1988, leaving Mangualde in Portugal as the only production plant for the 2CV, until the last was produced on 27 July 1990). |

I couldn't find any beige colour that was used that late, but then I found Jaune Rialto (EAA), which was used from September 1984 till the very last, and which seems to match with the colour shown here: http://users.skynet.be/vincent.beyaert/V2004/COL-JauneRialto.htm -- Last edit: 2010-03-18 21:38:18 |

1986-87 Club actually. I can't legitimately confirm the black tail light trim, but I can tell you the Club was discontinued since July 1987, and the remaining Spécial and Charleston had a CITROEN badge without chevron on the right from then. PS: The roof of a 2CV can be changed in 5 minutes ![]() |
