^There's no such thing. This is a bondo bucket with a rebuilt front end. Note how it is missing a bumper guard.

There were LTD (Model 74) AND Country Squire wagons (model 75) in the 1979 model lineup

The model number for both is 74. 74H for the LTD Wagon, 74K for the Country Squire. The LTD wagon used the same front end with single headlamps as the base LTD line. The only wagon to use the quad lights of the LTD Landau in 1979 was the Country Squire.

A reference to the 1979 Ford brochure confirms Somename's statement. Only the Country Squire had the quad lamp/grill arrangement.
However, my period NADA shows that while the regular LTD wagon had the code "74", the Country Squire used "76".

Commander 57..You are correct..I checked a newer edition of the same book and it is models 74 and 76...somename is correct in that an LTD had single lamps and the Country Squire had quads....so the above vehicle has a Country Squire front clip mated to an LTD body...yes, no, maybe...

Hold on a sec. Let's re-think this.

I just noticed that the subject car does not appear to have a hood ornament which would make it a 1980 model.
A reference to the 1980 Ford wagon brochure shows that there were THREE lines of full-sized wagons that year, the LTD S (with the single-lamp front) and the LTD & LTD Country Squire, both of which had the quad lamp front. The LTD version did not have the wood tone side trim.
I am now inclined to list the subject car as a 1980 Ford LTD wagon.

Dissent?

MY source agrees with yours..THREE wagon lines in 1980..no dissent on my part
