That was first generation Explorer that was known to rollover easily, and the blame fell on the Firestone tires that were equipped on the vehicles, though the Explorer’s design didn’t help matters. Poor handling, choppy ride, tall stature and narrow width make for a bad combination when tires that were run low on air pressure are factored in. |

Wonder why other 80's/90's SUVs didn't have rollover problems? Such as S10 Blazers, 4Runners, Monteros. They were all tall and narrow. |

Cars may or may not have "issues" with rolling, but honestly if people would stop blaming cars and start blaming drivers, maybe we'd get somewhere. |
