This appears to be a backup car for the scene when the real GTX was destroyed. I can't imagine they would have wanted to destroy more than one, if the main characters car was in fact a real GTX. Although this is hollywood were talking about here and you know those dumbasses don't care about beautiful classic cars. so it either doesn't dawn on them that they're destroying history. . . .or they're too stupid so care. but that's still no excuse to wreck a beautiful Newport either. |

This vehicle's role of importance is 2 stars. It was only used for the deer to stand on top of it and jump off into the woods. -- Last edit: 2011-09-11 14:28:22 (walter) |

I see it the way you do, StP. Hollywood seems to have no feel whatsoever for automotive history. Antique cars are just objects to be destroyed to tittilate the audience. I would never allow mine into their hands. -- Last edit: 2011-09-10 21:36:48 |

Going by the photo alone, it appears to be a bondo bucket with poor quality paint and body work. Maybe not that big a loss. -- Last edit: 2021-10-20 02:06:43 |
