Only 3 of the 77 Sabre 6 made (from Oct 62) were convertible, although most of 55 made Sabre 4 were. But Sabre 4 (from March 61) usually had a different front and only adopted the Sabre 6 grille (as here) in June 63 before 4 production stopped Dec 63. So either permutation very unusual. So which do you prefer?? |

Clip at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hw7rlB0klZg&feature=player_embedded . I think the plate is 939 KNX = Feb 1964, Warwickshire. For interest a picture of another 1964 Sabre - AFH 516B - labelled as a 6, but DVLA says 1703cc so it's a 4 with the later front - http://classiccarblog.co.uk/?cat=278 . |
