1942 Buick Special Series B Sedanet ( Model 46-S).A Chevrolet Fleetline Aerosedan 1942-1948 would have three equally broad trim strips on both front and rear fenders , extending behind the rear fender wheel arches. The 1942 Buick Special Sedanet had no strips on the rear fenders but two broad strips surmounted by a small fender line on the front fenders and also had had an additional trim strip in front of the front wheel arch as seen here ( this last one was absent on postwar Specials ).The two-tone paint also points to a 1942 car , postwar Specials were mostly one color.
