Blue car at rear is a Ford Falcon XA, XB or even XC. If I had a front view I could be more precise!

In NZ it was a Mitsubishi Lancer - the Colt name was not used here after the first Colts of about 1968.

I thought those taillights slightly were reminiscent of a Plymouth Cricket...I really thought it was a non-US variation but couldnt find a match online. This one was bugging me. I believe this was indeed related to the cricket in some way.

The Cricket was actually British, related to the Hillman Avenger: /vehicle_74413-Hillman-Avenger-1973.html

As far as I know, there was no relation to the Lancer.

Not only related to the Avenger, it was an Avenger, simply rebadged. It was replaced in 1973 by the Mitsubishi-built Dodge Colt.

ok, not related...but replaced by nonetheless.Wikipedia lumped the Hillman and colt together on the subheading of the cricket entry...

Red 1965+ (for eyeball vents) Mk1 Cortina bottom right - not sure about NZ assembly, but definitely in Aus.

Cortinas were assembled in New Zealand from '62 to '82 from Dagenham CKD kits. When the Dagenham supply ran dry in mid '82 a final batch of CKD kits were supplied by Fords Irish factory in Cork and the last New Zealand Cortina was assembled in mid'83.
