Goof: Continuity The (or those) Rolls is/are the car(s) used by Orson Welles. But in interior scenes, obviously, they used a different car. See the 3rd. rear side window that it is not here ![]() -- Last edit: 2010-04-20 20:55:21 |

The interior details of the car shown with Mr Welles inside are almost identical to my R-type Bentley. Therefore that would be a Rolls-Royce Siver Dawn, which uses the same Pressed Steel bodywork. The other cars are probably Silver Wraiths with coachbuilt bodywork, and there are definitely two different cars in the thumbnails above, the coachlines above the rear mudguard stay straight in one car and curve downwards in the other. -- Last edit: 2010-04-20 23:16:37 |

Three(!) cars used here: 1. 1951-1952 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith Sedanca de Ville by H.J.Mulliner 2. 1948-1950 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith Teviot Touring Saloon by Hooper (different wheels, and rear quarter windows) 3. 1951-1955 Bentley Mark VI or R-type or Rolls Royce Silver Dawn Standard Saloon |
