After Researching into old tour videos around Disney backlots, I found that there were actually 3 trucks for the movie, one was modified as a stunt car for the fire scene after some little critters had been messing about with the electronics under the bonnet haha! I am guessing another truck was used for general film use and the last would have acted as a hero car. The last time I seen them they were sat next to each other in the backlot of MGM Studios along side the 'Dip Truck' from the film 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit' As shown in this video - 04:47 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UE6qexCaDqw -- Last edit: 2012-08-27 22:31:06 |

I love the scene when it has a very hard time starting after the animals have been messing around with it , and puppies have gotten away from them ![]() ![]() |

It looks that the vehicle has a 1994 tax disc on the windshield. |

This car is gray, not green. |

could have been repainted.. if so, they only list the original color if you look the thumbnail, looks like the grille ( and lower part ) is green -- Last edit: 2016-10-02 04:43:12 |

Yeah true. The truck is gray in the movie, and it now sits on a Disney backlot. |

I saw it on the Disney World backlot tour during a family trip there back in August 2004. I have a picture somewhere. |

Can someone tell me what has to go wrong in an '82 Transit for flames to come wooshing out from the under the hood and wheel wells? I'm also pretty sure the van would not be able to continue driving. |

It's more of a chassis cab, rather than van, since it is a cutaway chassis vehicle. |
