It features a navy blue BMW E30 Coupe. Not sure on the model. Either a 318i or 325. I don't recall seeing a large air-dam as the 325is and 325es had. The car's owner is a minor character in only one scene (first 15 min.). The car is parked the entire time in a parking garage. The car gets it's windows badly smashed (cool safety glass breakage/effects) by three guys with base-ball bats while the woman is in her car (car won't start). |

Based on the photos and the fact that this movie was made in `87, this E30 coupe could be the following: `84-`85 325e, or `86 325 - that's it. The `86-`87 325e only came as a 4-door, so it's excluded. The `86-`87 325es and `87 325is had a prominent, large front air dam and rear spoiler, which this car doesn't. Since the photo of the rear says 325e, most likely, I'd say it's that. We can eliminate the `84-`85 318i, and maybe the `86 325 too. -- Last edit: 2006-11-06 19:00:45 |

License plate does not match. blue plates with 3 letters and 3 numbers were phased out by the mid-80s. Either a fake plate or recycled off a scrapped car. This looks like a mid-70s sequence. |

You're instincts are correct cko. It's a prop plate with a 70s sequence. You were not allowed to have the letter sequence start with a "I". The blue is not dark enough either. -- Last edit: 2013-05-14 04:44:58 |
